Being one of the oldest private Nursing Institutions in Bali with more than 30 years of experience in education, STIKES Bali is committed to develop highly qualified education system and graduates who are able to meet future challenges of civilization. In line with vision and purpose of the Institute to become the changing agent and produce professional graduates, in recent years, STIKES Bali has a significant reform in order to strive for the excellent education with global outlook and research.

STIKES Bali believes that to be a great educational institution, we cannot work alone; thus every department in STIKES Bali is encouraged to establish mutual cooperation with national and international partners. This means having a local yet international mindset.

Through its mission, STIKES Bali has been conducting internationalization and related efforts to achieve its vision and as a response to the globalization. In the process, STIKES Bali has continually increased its capacity building in realizing varied international dimensions of teaching, learning, research and community service activities of the institute’s staffs and students. All these efforts are supported by staffs in all departments, along with our newest administrative unit, the Office of International Affairs and Public Relations.

STIKES Bali opens its heart widely for international cooperation, students from other institutions, guest lectures and research partners to visit, study and share ideas with STIKES Bali’s staffs and students. STIKES Bali also provides chances to its students and staffs in improving their ability and knowledge also English capability by administering Student and Faculty Exchange Program and supporting teachings staffs to pursue higher education degree. These programs are aimed to achieve STIKES Bali’s vision and also to provide chances for each student and lecturer to improve their individual skills and become the professional in nursing and midwifery.

Off campus, the internationalization has implemented through sending and supporting our students abroad for student exchange programs, faculties to pursue higher education degree abroad, present papers at international conferences, conduct seminars or lectures and planning international research projects with colleagues abroad.
