Diploma-III of Nursing is a three-year program; comprised of 6 semesters and divided into 3 levels/years (year I, II, and III). The maximum duration of the study is 8 semesters. The course is designed for high-school graduates seeking registration as a nurse. The course comprises 115 credit points of study.

 Students are prepared for practice through a combination of on campus theory and the latest simulation activities, as well as supported clinical practice in a variety of health care settings. Students also gain exposure to nursing practice early within the program, and become familiar with the range of clinical placements offered reflecting the diverse roles of nursing today.

 Upon successful completion of the coursework, students will be awarded the Diploma-III of Nursing / Ahli Madya Keperawatan (Amd. Kep). Graduates of this course are expected to have the competence in delivering a wide range of nursing services including administering nursing interventions; select appropriate method accordance with various options available by analyzing the data and able to show their performance in measured quality and quantity.

The Diploma-III of Nursing qualification covers the application of nursing skills and knowledge required to be eligible for registration with the Nursing Board of Indonesia.
