BACHELOR OF FOOD TECHNOLOGY

Bachelor of Food Technology is a 4 year (8 semesters) program. The maximum duration of this study is 14 semesters. The program comprises 147 credit points of study. On successful completion of this course, students will be awarded the qualification of Bachelor of Food Technology/Sarjana Teknologi Pangan (S.TP). The graduates of this course are expected to be:

  • Manager / Worker In the food industry. The students of this course are expected to have ability and skills in processing food production processes that are beneficial to health and have the ability in food management
  • EntrepreneurThe students of this course are expected to have ability and skills in designing food products that are beneficial to individuals, families and communities that are innovative, characterized and globally oriented
  • EducatorThe students of this course are expected to have ability to provide education in the field of food-oriented technology that is innovative, characterized and globally oriented
  • Food safety auditorThe students of this course are expected to have ability and skills in examining the food safety system and the ability to control the food quality control system
  • ResearcherThe students of this course are expected to have ability to conduct research, mastery of appropriate research methods in the field of food and food service and have the ability to solve community problems with appropriate technology that is innovative, characterized and globally oriented
  • Nutrition Food ConsultantThe students of this course are expected to have ability to understand the relationship between food consumption and the fulfillment of nutritional and health needs and mastery in the field of food science
